FlowSort S15-F7 is deployed across every segment of freight, parcel, and logistics — wherever shipments transfer between vehicles without storage.
Less-than-truckload freight terminals transferring shipments between linehaul and local delivery vehicles. FlowSort S15-F7 handles mixed-size freight including pallets and oversized items across 20–30 dock doors simultaneously.
LTL Freight Inquiry →FedEx Ground, UPS, USPS contractors transferring parcels between linehaul trailers and local delivery routes. 25,200/hour throughput eliminates the morning sort bottleneck that delays drivers and reduces daily delivery counts.
Parcel Carrier Inquiry →Regional and national DCs transferring shipments between suppliers, manufacturing, and retail destinations. FlowSort S15-F7 eliminates intermediate storage, reducing inventory carrying costs and accelerating supply chain velocity.
DC Inquiry →Third-party logistics providers operating cross-dock facilities for multiple clients. FlowSort S15-F7 handles client-specific routing rules, per-client analytics, and flexible configuration changes without stopping operations.
3PL Inquiry →Airport cargo ground handling operations transferring air freight to ground delivery vehicles. FlowSort S15-F7 handles time-critical air cargo with real-time priority routing, connecting air and ground delivery networks at 99.9% accuracy.
Air Cargo Inquiry →Retail chains transferring merchandise from suppliers to store replenishment vehicles. FlowSort S15-F7 routes store-specific shipments directly to outbound doors by store number and delivery priority, accelerating replenishment by 65%.
Retail Inquiry →Temperature-controlled food, pharmaceutical, and medical supply cross-docking. FlowSort S15-F7's 75% dwell time reduction is critical for maintaining cold chain integrity — parcels move from dock to dock in 15–30 minutes, not 4–8 hours.
Cold Chain Inquiry →Rail-to-truck and truck-to-rail intermodal freight transfer terminals. FlowSort S15-F7 bridges intermodal modes at high throughput, enabling faster rail-to-last-mile connections and reducing intermodal transit times.
Intermodal Inquiry →E-commerce outbound hubs sorting orders by carrier and delivery zone for multi-carrier handoff. FlowSort S15-F7 handles peak holiday volumes at 25,200+ parcels/hour without additional headcount, enabling same-day and next-day fulfillment promises.
E-Commerce Inquiry →From inbound truck arrival to outbound loading — fully automated in 15–30 minutes vs 4–8 hours manually.
Inbound trucks back into pre-assigned dock doors based on manifest data from your TMS. The FlowSort S15-F7 control system knows what's coming before the trailer opens — enabling instant induction as soon as the dock door lifts.
Parcels placed on the induction belt are scanned automatically. High-speed multi-plane barcode scanners read 1D, 2D, and QR codes at any orientation at up to 600 ft/min belt speed. Each parcel is identified, weighed, and dimensioned in under one second.
Control system queries your WMS/TMS in milliseconds for each parcel's destination dock assignment — by destination zip code, carrier, service level, and vehicle loading sequence. Sort decisions happen faster than parcels can travel between scanners.
Parcels travel the conveyor network at up to 600 ft/min, directed by automated divert arms and pop-up sorters to the correct outbound lane. 99.9% sort accuracy across all 20–30 dock doors simultaneously.
Sorted parcels accumulate at outbound dock doors in vehicle loading sequence order. Loading teams load trailers in optimal cube sequence, reducing load time and maximizing capacity utilization per truck.
Live dashboards show inbound progress, outbound fill levels, sort accuracy, throughput rate, and exception alerts. Departure readiness reports export automatically to TMS for dispatch release. Full audit trail for every parcel processed.
Track average parcel dwell time from inbound dock arrival to outbound truck departure. Industry average is 4–8 hours manually. FlowSort S15-F7 reduces this to 15–30 minutes. Multiply your daily volume by dwell time to understand the cost of delayed outbound departures.
Count your cross-dock sorting staff and multiply by average hourly wage × operating hours × 1.25 overhead. A 20-person manual cross-dock operation at $20/hr costs $3,200/day in labor alone — before error correction, re-handling, and overtime. FlowSort S15-F7 reduces this headcount by 60–70%.
FlowSort S15-F7 handles up to 20 simultaneous dock doors. Extended handles up to 30. Custom configurations are available for larger facilities. Count your current active dock doors during peak operations to determine the right model configuration for your facility.
Use the calculator below to input your daily volume, staff count, average wage, and dwell time. You'll receive an estimated payback period, annual savings, and monthly labor savings. Most operations with 10,000+ daily cross-dock parcels achieve payback in under 15 months.

FlowSort S15-F7 delivers 400–500% throughput improvement over manual cross-docking. Manual operations typically handle 5,000–6,000 parcels per hour per shift with 12–20 staff. FlowSort S15-F7 processes 25,200 parcels/hour with 4–6 operators. Extended model handles 28,800/hour. The improvement comes from continuous automated sorting versus batch-and-delay manual processing.
FlowSort S15-F7 includes standard REST API integration for SAP, Oracle WMS, Manhattan Associates, Blue Yonder, JDA, and custom proprietary systems. The system receives sort instructions directly from your WMS in real-time and provides status updates back — parcel scanned, sorted, and confirmed at outbound dock. TMS integration for carrier routing optimization and departure readiness reporting is included in both Standard and Extended models. Integration timeline: typically 3–5 days for standard WMS, 2–3 weeks for custom systems.
FlowSort S15-F7 maintenance schedule: daily visual inspection and cleaning (30 minutes), weekly lubrication of moving parts (2 hours), monthly wear component inspection (4 hours), quarterly comprehensive system check (8 hours), annual professional maintenance service. System uptime exceeds 99% with proper maintenance. Remote diagnostics allow SortLease engineers to identify issues before they cause downtime. Maintenance training for your team is included with installation.
FlowSort S15-F7 handles parcels from 4×4 to 30×30 inches and up to 70 lbs. Extended model handles 4×4 to 36×36 inches and up to 100 lbs. For larger freight items — pallets, oversized cartons, freight that exceeds these dimensions — optional specialized conveying modules are available for custom configurations. Contact us to discuss your specific freight profile requirements.
FlowSort S15-F7 installs in 4–6 weeks: site preparation (2 weeks), delivery and staging (1 week), mechanical installation (2 weeks), electrical and controls (1 week), testing and commissioning (1 week), operator training (3–5 days). SortLease uses phased installation for active facilities — sections of the system go live progressively while manual operations continue in remaining areas. Most clients maintain 70–80% of normal throughput during installation.
FlowSort S15-F7 ROI payback is typically 9–15 months. Primary savings drivers: labor reduction (60–70% = $15,000–$50,000+/month depending on operation size), error correction elimination (99.9% accuracy vs 94–96% manual), improved outbound on-time departure enabling better carrier contract rates, and zero intermediate storage costs.
